Toy Drive for Haven House

The Henry County Rotary's annual toy drive benefited Haven House this year. Haven House is a temporary shelter for survivors of domestic violence.

In addition to our member's donations, two other organizations contributed to the drive:

One of our Rotary members who owns the Magnolia Tea Room in McDonough collected toys through the month of November. Guests at the restaurant were invited to bring a toy for donation when they visited the restaurant.
McDonough High School heard about our project and ran a toy drive with the student organizations within the school.

More toys were collected than the number of children at Haven House at the time. So the left over toys will be given to new children that arrive at the home throughout the year.
